Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has made its way to Geekbench, revealing its chipset: the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+. This chipset includes a 3.73 GHz Prime core, which hints at impressive performance, but early results from the prototype show far less than expected. This might be due to the fact that it’s still an early prototype and Samsung is likely fine-tuning it.

So, don’t get too hung up on the numbers just yet.

The Tab S11 Ultra will be equipped with 12GB of RAM and Android 16 upon its release. Looking at previous models, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra launched in October, after being announced in late September. It’s likely we’ll see a similar timeline this year. However, there might be a potential hiccup: rumors suggest the Dimensity 9500 could launch in early September. If that’s true, Samsung may face some backlash for releasing a tablet with a now-outdated chipset.

This would be especially awkward considering the Dimensity 9400+ would be superseded by the newer 9500. But, as always, we’ll have to wait and see what happens. For now, we’ll keep you updated on any new information as it becomes available.
