Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE has officially launched at an affordable price of $899, bringing foldable tech to a broader audience. Unveiled during the Galaxy Unpacked event, this fan edition combines premium features with a budget-friendly price tag. 
The Z Flip 7 FE might resemble its premium sibling, but it’s designed for those seeking a high-quality foldable without breaking the bank. Samsung’s collaboration with Google also highlighted the event, with AI advancements being at the forefront of their strategy.
The Galaxy Z Flip FE comes equipped with the Exynos 2400 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. While its performance closely matches the Z Flip 7, which boasts 12GB of RAM, the FE version offers a more accessible price point while maintaining decent specs. The 6.7-inch AMOLED 2X display offers vibrant visuals, though the cover display is a bit smaller at 3.4 inches, matching the Galaxy Z Flip 6. While the reduced screen size might seem like a compromise, it serves to cut costs without sacrificing the overall experience.
Powering the device is a 4,000mAh battery, which supports 25W charging. The camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 12MP ultra-wide lens. However, the Z Flip FE lacks a telephoto lens, keeping the device’s price low. Available in Black and White, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is now available for pre-order at $899.
