Amazon may have just revealed a big tease for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7, and it’s got us more excited than ever.
Every day seems to bring a fresh leak, making us wonder if Samsung has any big surprises left for its Unpacked event on July 9th. The latest leak comes from Amazon, where a video showing what could be the Galaxy Z Fold 7 was posted by WSKEN, who were demonstrating how to apply a screen protector. While the video doesn’t show the device powered on, it aligns with previous leaks, so we might just be looking at the real thing.
The video shows the device from an angle where we get a glimpse of its outer screen. Although it’s not definitive, this leak adds weight to the rumor that the Fold 7 will be thinner and more streamlined than its predecessor. When folded, it nearly looks like a regular phone, and the gap between the two halves should make it easier to unfold.
As for the screen, expect the outer display to grow slightly from 6.3 inches to 6.5 inches. While the increase might sound small, it’s noticeable in person. Rumors also suggest that the Fold 7 will sport a larger 8-inch inner display, a sleeker ring-less camera array, and will be lighter overall.
There’s also talk of Samsung ditching the under-display camera, a change many users will welcome. Powering the device will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite, ensuring top-tier performance.
