The screen is not just big; it’s practical. It folds into a compact form, making it the slimmest foldable phone Samsung has made to date at 8.9 mm when folded and 4.2 mm unfolded. The Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset powers the device, providing cutting-edge AI performance, improved CPU, and GPU capabilities. The camera array includes a 200 MP main sensor, ultra-wide, and telephoto lenses, promising great photos and videos. Samsung has also pushed durability with the new Armor FlexHinge, Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, and a reinforced foldable display that handles daily wear and tear better than previous models.

First and foremost, the Z Fold 7’s display is a game-changer. If you enjoy foldables, this is a treat: an 8-inch display that folds down to a phone size when you’re done. What I Don’t Like
Despite all these impressive features, I don’t see myself buying the Z Fold 7. For one, the battery life isn’t cutting it at 4,272 mAh, especially when rivals like Honor and Oppo offer foldables with larger batteries. Also, while the 200 MP main camera is great, the rest of the setup (12 MP ultra-wide, 10 MP telephoto) feels outdated for 2025. And don’t get me started on the inner selfie camera placement – it could have been positioned better.
Would I recommend the Z Fold 7? Sure, if you’ve got the cash to spare and you’re into foldables. It may not be the phone for me, but I can appreciate the innovation Samsung has packed into this device. If you’re in the foldables game, this is a fun choice!
