Samsung’s Foldables and Smartwatches for 2025 Now Available for Pre-Order in Europe
Samsung has officially opened pre-orders across Europe for its latest foldable phones – the Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and the budget-friendly Z Flip7 FE – alongside the refreshed Galaxy Watch8
The Galaxy Z Fold7 arrives with a thinner profile at just 8.9mm folded and an impressive 4.2mm when unfolded. Weighing only 215g, it’s even lighter than the S25 Ultra. It features larger displays – 6.5” cover and 8.0” main – compared to last year’s Fold6. However, the battery remains the same at 4,400mAh. The key upgrades lie in the sleek form factor and the powerful 200MP camera, ideal for photography enthusiasts.
The Galaxy Z Flip7 strikes a solid balance between portability and performance. It’s slimmer than its predecessor and sports a larger 4,300mAh battery. Users also get a bigger 4.1” external and 6.9” internal display, all powered by Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chip. While the cameras stay mostly unchanged, they now support 10-bit HDR video recording for improved dynamic range.
The new Z Flip7 FE offers a more affordable folding experience, coming in at $200 less than the Z Flip6’s launch price. While it runs on the older Exynos 2400 chipset and offers reduced RAM/storage configurations, Samsung includes a free storage upgrade during the pre-order phase, making it a more attractive deal for budget-conscious buyers.
Moving to wearables, the Galaxy Watch8 is the slimmest in Samsung’s lineup at just 8.6mm. It introduces a “cushion” or squircle-shaped design that aims to improve comfort and stability during workouts. The display now hits 3,000 nits brightness, though it’s still powered by last year’s Exynos W1000.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Watch8 Classic revives the rotating bezel and adds a new Quick Button inspired by the Watch Ultra. It comes in a 46mm size with a 1.34” display. Buyers in the UK get a free Duo Wireless Charger and band bundle, while those in Germany can receive up to €150 cashback.
Lastly, the Galaxy Watch Ultra hasn’t received a new version, but the existing model now comes in Titanium Blue and boasts 64GB of storage – double the original. Though pricier, it’s a tempting option for those needing more space for media on the go.
All these devices are currently up for pre-order, and buyers in select regions can take advantage of limited-time promotions, including free accessories and cashback offers.
