Samsung is gearing up for a major reveal this July, with the spotlight shining on its next-generation foldables: the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7. 
While we’ve known for a while that the launch would happen early in the month, a fresh report out of South Korea has now pinpointed the likely location: New York City.
This would mark Samsung’s return to an in-person Unpacked event in NYC, something we haven’t seen since the Galaxy Note10 launch back in 2019. The 2022 Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4 were also introduced in New York, but via a virtual presentation. This year, Samsung seems ready to bring the physical buzz back to the Big Apple.
Adding fuel to the excitement, Samsung teased what appears to be an Ultra variant of the Galaxy Z Fold7 earlier today. Whether this is a completely separate high-end model or just a new branding twist for a tri-fold device remains unclear. Either way, it suggests that the Fold lineup is getting even more ambitious.
Rumors also suggest the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE could share the stage, indicating a packed Unpacked event with multiple foldable offerings.
With just weeks to go, we can expect more leaks and details to emerge. But one thing’s for sure – Samsung is planning something big, and New York City will be the epicenter of the foldable future in July.

Tri-fold sounds cool but prob costs like a kidney
