The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Z Flip7 FE are now available for pre-order in the US, following the recent Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung has taken a bold step with these foldables, introducing slimmer designs and, for the first time, an affordable FE version targeting a lower price point.

Along with these devices, Samsung unveiled new smartwatches with a unique ‘cushion’ design, offering a more comfortable and stable fit for users.

Pre-orders for all new devices are now open and will continue for the next couple of weeks. Open sales begin on July 25, just two weeks from now. During the pre-order phase, customers will receive a free storage upgrade with their purchase.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is impressively slim, with a thickness of 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm unfolded, and it weighs just 215g, lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This phone features an upgraded 6.5-inch cover display and an 8.0-inch main display, a significant improvement over its predecessor’s 6.3-inch and 7.6-inch displays. However, the battery remains the same at 4,400mAh, as Samsung prioritized a slimmer build, enhanced cameras, and larger displays. The Fold7 will be available in a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration for $2,000 from both Amazon and Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 offers a more compact foldable experience, featuring a slimmer design (13.7mm folded, 6.5mm unfolded) and a larger 4,300mAh battery, which is 300mAh more than the previous version. The device also boasts a bigger 4.1-inch cover display and a 6.9-inch inner display. However, the Z Flip7 is powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset, even in the US, and its camera upgrades are limited to 10-bit HDR video support. The Z Flip7 is priced at $1,100 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant, available from Amazon and Samsung.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, a more budget-friendly foldable, is priced $200 less than the previous Z Flip6. However, this model will not be available through carriers and will only be sold by retailers. The Z Flip7 FE features the same design as the Z Flip6, but with an Exynos 2400 chipset in place of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and it comes in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB configurations, with the free storage upgrade bringing the 256GB variant for $900.

Alongside these foldables, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Watch8, the slimmest in the family at just 8.6mm. It has a 50% brighter display (up to 3,000 nits) and a more comfortable squircle design. The Watch8 is powered by the same Exynos W1000 chip as its predecessor but comes with an improved battery. It is priced at $350 for the 40mm Bluetooth version and $380 for the 44mm Bluetooth version. The Watch8 Classic brings back the iconic rotating bezel and introduces a Quick Button, but it is only available in the 46mm size. It’s priced at $500 for the Bluetooth model and $550 for the 4G model. The Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) is also getting a refresh with a new Titanium Blue color and 64GB of storage, doubling the previous model’s storage. It’s priced at $650 for the 4G model.
