Samsung One UI 7.0 Beta Launch Date Revealed

Samsung One UI 7 Update: Latest Rumors and Features

Samsung’s first public beta for One UI 7 based on Android 15 was initially rumored to go live this week for the Galaxy S24 family. That hasn’t happened yet, and according to a new rumor, it won’t. Instead, it’s been pushed back to the third week of August, allegedly. The reason for the delay apparently has to do with the One UI 6.1.1 update, which is still making its way to older foldables, tablets, and some high-end devices. So Samsung wants to focus on one update at a time.

One UI 7 will be a significant update, bringing a redesign of Samsung’s skin on top of Android. Recent leaks suggest it will introduce a revamped Quick Settings panel, new icons for Samsung apps, a redesigned lock screen with battery charging status, and more. There are also rumors about smoother animations being integrated into the update.

Expected Changes in One UI 7.0 Update

  • Revamped Quick Panel with Quick Settings and Notifications pages
  • Rounded notifications and app icons
  • New lock screen design with battery charging status
  • Search bar at the bottom of the app drawer for easier access
  • Redesigned camera app for improved one-handed use
  • New animations and transitions for a smoother overall experience
