But Samsung’s US division wasn’t holding back with their playful jabs at Apple’s announcements, pointing out that some of the new features Apple is touting have been available on Samsung devices for quite some time.

The teasing kicked off when Samsung took aim at Apple’s revamped user interface (UI) across all of its platforms. The sleek, customizable apps and floating bars introduced by Apple seemed a bit too familiar to Samsung, with the tweet saying, ‘Customizable apps? Floating bars? That sleek glass UI? Looks… familiar 🤔’

Next, Samsung’s US team poked fun at Apple’s new live translation feature, highlighting that Samsung phones have had real-time text and speech translation for quite a while. The tweet read, ‘New to live translations? Welcome aboard! We’ve been translating text and speech in real-time for a while now… #GalaxyAI’

Finally, Samsung didn’t miss a chance to poke fun at the AI capabilities being introduced to the Apple Watch. In a cheeky tweet, Samsung said, ‘AI is coming to your watch? Cute. Ours already knows when you’re too tired to care 😴 #GalaxyAI’

While this type of friendly rivalry is common in the smartphone industry, it’s worth noting that Apple and Samsung aren’t the only ones in the game. The smartphone market is incredibly competitive, and features often inspire imitation. Despite this, Samsung clearly enjoys a little playful banter in the mix!

I see what Samsung did there, but we all know Apple fans will just ignore it 😅
