Starfield PlayStation 5 Port is Still Happening, But May Be Delayed

Despite no official announcement, rumors about the Starfield PlayStation 5 port are still circulating, and it seems that the highly anticipated release might be delayed.

Responding to a fan’s query on X, gaming insider NateTheHate confirmed that the PS5 port of the critically acclaimed RPG by Bethesda is still in development. However, the insider hinted that the release date might be pushed back compared to earlier expectations.

Although this delay might be frustrating for those eagerly awaiting the chance to play Starfield on PlayStation 5, it’s not entirely unexpected. The game, which is already available on PC and Xbox Series X/S, has had its fair share of delays, and it seems that this trend may continue. Recently, NateTheHate also revealed that the second DLC for Starfield is in the works, but it’s unlikely to arrive this year. If this new DLC proves to be more substantial than the previously released Shattered Space DLC, offering new features and enhancements to the game, it wouldn’t be surprising for Bethesda to release the PlayStation 5 port alongside it. This new expansion could possibly be titled Starborn, further adding to the excitement for fans.

Currently, Starfield remains exclusive to PC, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, and fans can look forward to more updates on the port as soon as they’re available.
