The Tokyo Game Show 2025 is rapidly approaching, and the excitement is already building up. With less than two months to go, the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) has unveiled the first batch of exhibitors confirmed for the event. Among the big names on the list are PlayStation, Konami, Square Enix, and Sega, all set to showcase their upcoming titles at this year’s show. This year’s event is shaping up to be much bigger than last year, with 4,083 booths lined up, compared to the 3,252 from 2024.
In total, 772 exhibitors are confirmed, with the majority coming from Japan, and 299 international exhibitors joining the fray.
As in previous years, the Tokyo Game Show will be hosted at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, from September 25 to 28. Alongside the major Japanese players, other global names like EA, Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, and Riot Games are also confirmed to be in attendance. This diverse group promises to bring a wealth of games and experiences to the show floor.
While the Tokyo Game Show isn’t known for massive product announcements, it offers an exciting opportunity for gamers to get an exclusive look at the biggest titles coming for the fall and winter seasons. With Gamescom already behind us and the holiday season just around the corner, Tokyo Game Show often serves as the perfect platform to dive deeper into the latest gameplay, trailers, and insights into the most anticipated games. It’s safe to say that there’s a lot to look forward to in September!
The key art for this year’s event was also revealed, illustrated by the talented Zashiki Warashi, further heightening the anticipation for the show.
