TOPC Unveils First Mini PC with AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360, Starting at Just $362

TOPC has introduced the TR9 AI mini PC, the first device to feature AMD’s Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360, which comes with the Pro Strix Point chip. This unique processor offers a distinct Zen 5-Zen 5c configuration, setting it apart from other available options. Strix Point PRO APUs are not commonly found in mainstream devices, but TOPC has made it possible to bring the Ryzen AI PRO 360 to an affordable mini PC

. The TR9 AI is now available in four different configurations, including models with Strix Point and Krackan APUs.

The entry-level model, featuring the Ryzen AI 7 350 processor, is priced at 2299 Yuan (approximately $320) and packs an 8-core/16-thread setup. Its cores are clocked at 3.5 GHz (Zen 5c) and 5 GHz (Zen 5). It also features budget Radeon 860M graphics with 8 cores running at 3000 MHz and a dedicated NPU offering up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. For a slight upgrade, the TR9 AI mini PC with the Ryzen AI PRO 360 is available at $362. This version features a different core configuration, utilizing 3 Zen 5 cores and 5 Zen 5c cores, making it more efficient for background tasks. It also comes with a Radeon 880M GPU, which offers better performance, especially for gaming and productivity tasks.

In addition, there are higher-end models with Ryzen AI 9 365 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 APUs, with 10 and 12 cores respectively, priced at 3799 Yuan (~$529) and 4199 Yuan (~$585). These models are geared towards users seeking greater performance. While the budget versions with the Ryzen AI 7 350 and Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 are appealing due to their lower price points, the specifications of these models, including RAM and storage options, are yet to be fully disclosed. Initially, many manufacturers were hesitant to adopt Strix Point APUs, but over time, they’ve become a standard offering in mini PCs, with manufacturers also expanding their offerings to include higher-end Strix Halo chips and budget-friendly Krackan Point models.
