Ultra Mobile, a budget-friendly wireless carrier that operates on T-Mobile’s network, is making a big impact by enhancing its plans without raising prices.
Known for offering affordable service with flexibility and international calling features, Ultra Mobile is now providing even more to its customers.
The carrier is updating its plans to offer additional data and international perks while maintaining the same prices from over 10 years ago. For example, the $15 per month plan now includes 500MB of data, up from the previous 250MB. The $19 plan has increased its data from 3GB to 4GB, while the $39 plan now offers 24GB of data instead of 15GB. The top-tier $59 Ultra Unlimited+ plan continues to offer unlimited data but now includes 25GB of hotspot data and additional international credits.
All plans still include unlimited talk and text within the U.S., along with features like Wi-Fi calling, mobile hotspot access, and international coverage. These changes are being rolled out automatically with no need for customers to take any action.
In addition to the increased data, Ultra Mobile is offering significant discounts for those who opt for multi-month plans. Users who pay for a full year in advance can save up to 30%, potentially saving up to $216 per year. Three-month and six-month options are also available, offering discounts of 10% and 20%, respectively.
The company is also unveiling a new logo, replacing the old SIM card icon with a globe to reflect its growing focus on international connectivity and the increasing use of eSIM technology. Despite the rebranding, Ultra Mobile promises to continue offering straightforward, contract-free services.
Unlike many other carriers that reserve their best deals for new customers or impose additional requirements for discounts, Ultra Mobile aims to give all users more benefits without raising prices. This could give the carrier an edge in the budget segment, particularly for those looking to save money without compromising on essential features.
