Vivo is gearing up to launch the T4 Lite, a budget-friendly 5G smartphone, by the end of this month in India. This device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a step down from the more powerful T4 Ultra’s 9300+ chipset.
Despite this, the T4 Lite will pack a large 6,000 mAh battery, which could be a major selling point, as it will be the most affordable 5G phone with such a battery in Vivo’s lineup.
The T4 Lite will follow in the footsteps of the T3 Lite, which debuted in June 2024, and will join the existing T4, T4x, and T4 Ultra models. Interestingly, there’s speculation that the T4 Lite could also have a twin in India, potentially the iQOO Z10 Lite, which might share much of its design and specs. Vivo has been known to mix and match model names across markets, so the T4 Lite could very well be related to the Vivo Y19 and Y29s, further complicating its positioning in the brand’s lineup.
As for the specs, the T4 Lite is rumored to feature a 6.74-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels, offering a 90 Hz refresh rate and 570-nit peak brightness. The device will likely be available in three RAM configurations-4GB, 6GB, and 8GB-and offer expandable storage options of 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB. Despite the large battery, the T4 Lite is expected to be relatively slim, making it an attractive option for users looking for a budget 5G phone that doesn’t compromise on battery life.
