vivo has officially confirmed the launch of its sleek new smartphone, the T4R, set to debut in India on July 31 at noon.
After days of teasers, the brand finally pulled back the curtain on the T4R’s specs and design-and there’s a lot to unpack.
The T4R will be powered by the Dimensity 7400 chipset and feature a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera on the back. Selfie fans aren’t left behind either, as the phone boasts a 4K front-facing camera, a rare treat in this price range.
Style and durability come together in this device-vivo’s T4R will feature a quad-curved display for an immersive viewing experience, while its 7.3mm thickness keeps the profile slim and elegant. Moreover, the smartphone is built to withstand the elements with both IP68 and IP69 ratings, ensuring water and dust resistance at a high level.
The T4R will arrive in two color variants-both yet to be named-but appear sleek and minimalistic in the promo renders. All signs point to this device being a reworked version of the iQOO Z10R, which launched in India earlier the same day starting at INR 19,499 (around $225).
While vivo may be pushing the boundaries in terms of specs and design, some users online have already pointed out the brand’s habit of rebranding existing models with slight tweaks. Still, the T4R offers enough fresh appeal to stand on its own for fans of slim, powerful, and durable smartphones.
