Vivo X Fold5 Release Date Confirmed: 80W Charging, Massive Battery & More

Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date for its latest foldable device, the vivo X Fold5. Set to debut in China on June 25, the device is expected to hit international markets by the second week of July.

This release timeline follows a similar pattern to the previous X Fold3 series, though there’s no mention of a Pro variant just yet.

Leaked information from Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster on Weibo, has revealed more details about the upcoming device. The X Fold5 is expected to sport a massive 6,000 mAh battery, capable of supporting both 80W fast wired charging and 40W wireless charging. If true, this would make the X Fold5 one of the most power-efficient foldables available, boasting the largest battery and the fastest charging speeds in its category.

In terms of photography, the X Fold5 will come equipped with a triple-camera setup, including three 50MP lenses. One of these lenses will feature a 3x optical zoom to capture detailed close-ups. For durability, the phone will offer top-tier waterproofing with IPX8/IPX9/IPX9+ ratings, alongside IP5X dustproofing, ensuring it remains resilient against water and dust.
