The vivo X200 FE is finally official, and fans won’t have to wait until July as previously rumored.
Instead, vivo has confirmed a June 23 launch date, with its Taiwanese branch revealing the phone’s design, color options, and teaser specs through a new promo page.
The X200 FE will come in four stylish colors: black, blue, pink, and yellow, featuring a punch-hole display and a triple-camera system co-engineered with ZEISS. While Taiwan’s listing stays quiet on full specs, vivo Malaysia is already accepting pre-orders – and spilled some details in the process.
According to the Malaysian page, the X200 FE sports a 6.31″ ZEISS Master Colour Display, packs 12GB of RAM, and comes with a generous 512GB of storage. However, there may be additional memory variants not yet announced.
Speculation suggests the X200 FE is a rebranded version of China’s vivo S30 Pro mini, which launched recently with the Dimensity 9300+ chip. Some rumors hint that vivo might swap that out for the slightly tweaked Dimensity 9400e. Other expected specs include a 6.31″ 1216p 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display, a hefty 6,500 mAh Si/C battery, 90W wired charging, and full IP68/69 dust and water resistance.
On the camera front, the S30 Pro mini features a 50MP front shooter with autofocus, and a rear setup including a 50MP main lens, a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto, and an 8MP ultrawide. The same setup is expected in the X200 FE, and it’s already drawing debate among mobile photography enthusiasts.
While some fans are excited about the inclusion of a 1/2″ sensor telephoto lens, others argue that the 8MP ultrawide shooter feels dated – especially as even mid-rangers now ship with better ultrawide hardware. Still, many point out that most users prioritize the main and telephoto lenses, making the ultrawide less critical unless you’re a niche user.
Price-wise, vivo hasn’t revealed exact numbers, but speculators place it in the $500–600 range. Malaysian pricing is rumored to start around RM3299, which some believe may be too steep considering competitors like the Xiaomi 15, GT 7 Pro, or OnePlus 13s offer more balanced camera arrays for similar or slightly higher price points.
With the X200 FE, vivo seems to be targeting the “flagship killer” bracket – blending standout telephoto hardware with sleek design and premium display tech. But whether that 8MP ultrawide holds it back remains to be seen. We’ll know more when the full global specs drop on launch day.
