Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo X200 FE and Vivo X Fold5 will be launched in India on July 14, marking the arrival of these highly anticipated devices. These launches come just days after our exclusive report, which revealed that both smartphones would debut between July 14 and 19. The Vivo X200 FE will be available in India in Luxe Black and Amber Yellow color options, while the X Fold5 will only come in Titanium Gray.
While these color choices differ from what has been released in other regions, the specifications will remain identical.
The Vivo X200 FE is a mid-range powerhouse, featuring the Dimensity 9300+ SoC, a 6.31-inch 120Hz LTPO AMOLED display, three cameras (a 50MP primary, 50MP ultrawide, and 8MP telephoto), an IP68/69 rating for water and dust resistance, and a hefty 6,500mAh battery that promises long-lasting performance. Its camera setup is slightly complex, with the rear having dual 50MP cameras and an 8MP telephoto lens, plus a 50MP selfie camera, which some have found a bit confusing.
The Vivo X Fold5, a more premium offering, comes with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, an impressive dual-camera setup with three 50MP sensors, an IP58/59 rating, and a 6,000mAh battery. The X Fold5 boasts two displays: a large 8.03-inch foldable screen and a 6.53-inch cover display, offering users flexibility for different use cases. Both devices will run on Android 15 with the new Funtouch OS 15 out of the box.
Despite some confusion over the camera specifications of the X200 FE, the device is expected to be a solid contender in its category. If priced competitively, it could be a great choice for those seeking high-end specs without breaking the bank. In terms of availability, there has been no word on the release of the X200 FE outside of India yet, but fans are eagerly awaiting further details.
