Vivo has just teased a new variation of its Y04 series, introducing the Y04e, which has surfaced on the Google Play Console. This new model, which looks nearly identical to the original Y04, has sparked curiosity with its updated specs.
Expected to be released shortly, the Y04e appears to be a minor upgrade with a few key changes.
Like its predecessor, the Y04e features a 720×1,600 LCD screen, 4GB of RAM, and runs on Android 15 out of the box. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Unisoc T612 chipset, rebranded here as the T7225. Interestingly, this is the same chip used in the original Y04, which also comes with 4GB of RAM and the same screen resolution.
In fact, the only significant difference revealed by the Google Play Console listing is the Android version. It’s unclear whether there are other improvements or changes to the device that haven’t been disclosed yet, but considering Vivo’s pattern of incremental updates, it’s likely that more will be unveiled when the Y04e is officially launched. Stay tuned for more details!
