Digital Extremes has announced the Isleweaver update for Warframe, which will launch on all platforms on June 25. This exciting update will bring fresh content to players, especially those who have completed the Warframe: 1999 quest, ‘The Hex.’ These players will be able to explore an expanded version of the Kingdom of Duviri, where they will once again face Major Rusalka, as well as encounter new threats like The Murmur and the mysterious Indifference.
The Isleweaver update introduces several new activities, including the search for lore fragments that reveal hidden narrative secrets.
Players will also get the chance to explore the new island, Scholar’s Landing, and uncover the truth behind Rusalka’s reign. Additionally, there will be a mini-boss battle against Oraxia, the latest Warframe, who will challenge players with her unique abilities.
One of the major highlights of the Isleweaver update is the new Clan Operation, Operation: Eight Claw. In this event, players will team up with Dominus Thrax to reclaim Scholar’s Landing and Duviri’s throne from Major Rusalka and the Murmur. Players can also earn exclusive rewards during this event, which will be available to claim until July 16. For those who missed out on previous Clan Operation rewards, they will be available to earn again during this time.
Oraxia, the 61st Warframe, brings a new playstyle to the game. Known as the mistress of fear, Oraxia has abilities that allow her to isolate and execute weakened enemies, poison foes, buff marked enemies, and summon spiderling swarms from the bodies of the fallen. Alongside Oraxia, two new weapons will be introduced: the Scyotid barb cluster throwing weapon and the Spinnerex poison whip.
The Isleweaver update also introduces new Deluxe Cosmetics and TennoGen customizations. The Citrine Deluxe Collection, featuring the Citrine Aphrodita Skin and Corazon Syandana, is available for players to enhance their Warframe aesthetic. In addition, new community-designed TennoGen cosmetics will allow players to further personalize their Warframes, weapons, and operators.
Furthermore, Digital Extremes is focusing on improving the experience for new players. As part of the Isleweaver launch, the revamped onboarding tutorial in the Vor’s Prize quest has been updated to feature a modernized boss fight. Additionally, Valkyr’s abilities have been reworked to offer a faster, more aggressive playstyle tailored to her melee-focused kit.
More details about the Isleweaver update and future plans for Warframe will be revealed during TennoCon 2025, which will take place on July 18-19 in London, Ontario. With this being the tenth anniversary of Warframe’s fan-focused convention, players can expect some exciting announcements and celebrations!
