Fans of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt might have more to look forward to next year, as CD Projekt Red may release additional story DLC. This potential content is rumored to be developed by Fool’s Theory, the studio behind the remake of the original Witcher game. The details were revealed by Borys Nieśpielak, a prominent Polish game industry commentator, during a podcast with Remigiusz Maciaszek.

Although no specifics have been disclosed, it’s speculated that the DLC could either be a single questline or a more extensive paid expansion.

Interestingly, the DLC is believed to be linked to a project previously mentioned in CD Projekt’s earnings calls. While no official confirmation has been made, players are hopeful that the studio will expand on the world of Geralt of Rivia. Whether this turns out to be a new story arc or additional content remains to be seen.
