Xiaomi has officially confirmed the name and model number of its upcoming 15T Pro, as it makes an appearance on Geekbench. Following the release of the 14T and 14T Pro in late 2023, Xiaomi is now gearing up to launch their successors. Recently, the Xiaomi 15T Pro passed certification in Thailand by the NBTC, revealing its model number: 2506BPN68G. 
The ‘G’ at the end of the model number hints at its global availability, suggesting the device will be launched in the same markets as its predecessors.
Along with the model number, we also get to see the 15T Pro’s Geekbench score. The phone achieved a single-core score of 1,057 and a multi-core score of 4,009 on Geekbench 6.4.0 for Android. However, these scores should be taken with a grain of salt, as they were obtained from a prototype unit. Performance metrics tend to vary on final production models.
Rumors about the Xiaomi 15T Pro’s specs suggest it will feature a MediaTek chipset, aligning with previous speculation that the device would be based on the Redmi K80 Ultra. This device, which launched in China earlier this year, packs a Dimensity 9400+ chipset. It’s important to note, however, that Xiaomi’s T-series devices have not been direct rebrands of other models in recent years, meaning we can expect some differences. One notable difference could be in the camera setup.
The battery is also expected to undergo some changes. The 15T Pro is rumored to feature a smaller 5,500 mAh battery, compared to the 7,410 mAh battery found in the K80 Ultra. On the bright side, the 15T Pro could support faster 90W wired charging, improving charging speeds significantly.
Additionally, the Xiaomi 15T Pro has been certified by the FCC, which confirmed the phone would be available in three storage variants: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. All variants will come with 12GB of RAM.
