Xiaomi is gearing up to release its next-gen fitness tracker, the Smart Band 10, and while the design evolution is subtle, it’s packing some impressive refinements under the hood.
If you’re already a fan of Xiaomi’s wearables, this one’s likely to keep you hooked-with a bigger screen, long battery life, and a wallet-friendly price tag.
The Smart Band 10 features a 1.72-inch AMOLED display with ultra-thin symmetrical bezels, making it the largest display yet in Xiaomi’s Band lineup. It’s a noticeable upgrade from the Band 9’s 1.62-inch screen and supports a 60Hz refresh rate along with a peak 1,500 nits brightness-a serious upgrade for outdoor readability and smoother visuals.
Despite the screen boost, the Band 10 keeps things light and sleek. It may look similar to its predecessors, but the extra screen real estate gives it a more premium presence on the wrist. Xiaomi hasn’t changed the winning formula too much-why mess with what works?
Battery performance remains a standout feature. Up to 21 days of battery life on a single charge, with a full recharge time of about one hour, means you can pretty much forget about nightly charging routines. That’s endurance Fitbit and Apple Watch users can only dream of.
Software-wise, the Smart Band 10 brings over 150 sports modes, including advanced swimming metrics and real-time heart rate broadcasting. It also continues to support sleep tracking with REM analysis and 24/7 heart rate monitoring. These are features typically found on much pricier wearables.
While Xiaomi hasn’t officially announced the pricing yet, early reports suggest it’ll be close to the Smart Band 9’s price point-around €40/£35. That makes this an incredibly accessible choice for anyone looking to get into fitness tracking or upgrade without splurging on a high-end smartwatch.
In a market where wearables are either overpriced or underwhelming, Xiaomi continues to hit the sweet spot of value, features, and reliability. The Smart Band 10 might not reinvent the wheel, but it polishes it to near perfection.
