Xiaomi Reveals Stylish Watch S4 41mm and OpenWear Pro Headphones Ahead of Launch

Xiaomi is once again expanding its wearables lineup with the sleek and stylish Watch S4 41mm, alongside a bold new entry in audio tech – the Xiaomi OpenWear Pro open-ear headphones.

These launches are set to be revealed in full during tomorrow’s much-anticipated event.

The new 41mm variant of the Watch S4 is a more compact, fashion-forward option, clearly designed with aesthetics in mind. The teaser version, shown in Quicksand Gold, comes paired with a matching gold Milanese strap, elevating it more toward jewelry than gadget. A standout detail is its crown, which features a six-point lab-grown diamond – yes, a real one, not just a crystal. Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed whether the gold elements are plated or simply colored, but the watch certainly leans into premium appeal.

Despite its smaller size, Xiaomi claims the Watch S4 41mm will last up to 8 days on a single charge. That’s shorter than the original 47mm version’s 15-day promise, but understandable given the reduced battery size. Thankfully, the watch runs on Xiaomi’s new Xring T1 chipset, a power-efficient in-house processor featuring a 4G modem that uses 35% less energy than its predecessor. The chip also enables smarter features like remote camera control with live previews, making the S4 a capable tool for tech-savvy users.

Alongside the smartwatch, Xiaomi teased the OpenWear Pro earbuds. These are open-ear headphones – meaning they rest outside the ear canal – and they’re tuned by audio giant Harman. While Xiaomi says they feature a “five-unit system,” specifics are vague, possibly due to translation nuances. However, the open design itself has major benefits: awareness of surroundings, improved comfort for extended use, and pressure-free listening. The use of liquid silicone enhances skin contact comfort, making them ideal for office environments or busy city life.

All eyes are now on Xiaomi’s event, where these products will be unveiled alongside other hotly rumored devices like the Mix Flip 2, Pad 7S Pro, and possibly even new smart glasses. If you’re into style-meets-function wearables or want a fresh audio experience, this is one to watch.
