About Y Techs

We Connect
Tech Brands
With Real Audiences

Y Techs is a technology advertising and editorial media company. We produce high-quality sponsored content, native advertising, and advertorials for innovative technology brands — distributed through premium networks including Outbrain to reach engaged, informed readers worldwide.

Advertising That Respects the Reader

Technology advertising has a credibility problem. Too much of it relies on misleading headlines, fabricated urgency, and opaque commercial relationships. Y Techs was founded on a different premise: that sponsored content, done transparently and honestly, can be genuinely useful to the reader while still delivering results for the advertiser.

Y Techs was founded in 2019 by a team with backgrounds in technology journalism, digital advertising, and content strategy. We built our methodology around the standards of the best editorial operations — clear disclosure, accurate claims, and content that earns attention rather than tricks its way to a click.

We cover the technology categories that matter most to consumers today: electric vehicles, consumer electronics, personal computing, smart home technology, and emerging mobile platforms. In each category, we seek out brand partners whose products we believe offer genuine value to our audience.

Transparent Disclosure

Every sponsored article is clearly labeled. Commercial relationships are disclosed prominently, on the page, in plain language. We never obscure the nature of sponsored content.

Fact-Based Content

Our articles cite real data from credible sources. Statistics are referenced to IEA, Bloomberg NEF, ACEA, Statista, and other industry authorities — not invented for impact.

No Misleading Claims

We do not produce content with false urgency, guaranteed results, fabricated testimonials, or health/financial promises. Our content meets Outbrain's advertising policies and FTC standards.

Selective Partnerships

We work with technology brands whose products we believe offer real value. We turn down partnerships for products we consider misleading, low quality, or harmful to consumers.

Our Business Model, Plainly Stated

Y Techs is a commercial operation. We have costs: writers, researchers, editors, technology, and distribution. We cover those costs through two primary channels, both of which we disclose openly.

Sponsored content and advertorials. Technology companies pay us to produce articles that feature their products within a high-quality editorial context. These articles are always labeled clearly at the top of the page as "Advertorial" or "Sponsored." We maintain editorial standards for all sponsored content: factual accuracy, clear disclosure, and compliance with the advertising policies of the platforms through which it is distributed.

Affiliate commissions. When a reader signs up for or purchases a product through a link on our site, we may earn a commission from the provider. This is disclosed in relevant articles. It does not affect our decision to work with specific brand partners in our non-sponsored editorial content.

We believe transparency about commercial relationships produces better outcomes for everyone: readers who understand what they are reading, advertisers who benefit from audience trust, and a publication that maintains its credibility over time.

What We Publish and What We Won’t

We publish: Factual, well-sourced technology advertorials with clear disclosure labels, accurate product descriptions, and content that provides genuine value to the reader alongside its commercial purpose.
We disclose: Every affiliate relationship, every sponsored article, every commercial connection — on the page where it is relevant, in language that is prominent and easy to understand.
We don’t publish: Undisclosed sponsored content, misleading product claims, fabricated statistics, false urgency tactics, health or financial guarantees, or content designed to deceive readers about its commercial nature.
We don’t guarantee: That sponsored content is unbiased. Readers should apply appropriate critical judgment to advertorial content, including ours. Individual results from any product may vary.
